Tournament Management

ChessPairings.org is a completely free, web-based chess tournament management platform created by Stefano Loberti. It implements the latest FIDE Dutch system pairing rules (2025 edition, effective February 2026), making it fully FIDE 2026 compliant. No installation or subscription is required, and it works on any device with a web browser.

The platform supports five Swiss pairing system variants including Dutch, Burstein, and Lim variants, along with all 28 FIDE-recognized tiebreak systems such as Buchholz and Sonneborn-Berger. It also handles Round Robin tournament formats. ChessPairings.org is available in 13 languages: English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Dutch, Portuguese, Norwegian, Hindi, and Chinese.

Built on open-source foundations including bbpPairings (a C++ Swiss pairing engine) and TieBreakServer (a Python-based tiebreak calculator), ChessPairings.org offers a professional tournament management experience without any cost. It is a valuable tool for chess organizers worldwide who need reliable, standards-compliant pairing software.
