SWIPS
Web Tournament Engine
SWIPS is a web-based tournament management platform developed by ITSoft Solutions in Slovakia. It is designed to make tournament organization transparent, fair, and straightforward, handling everything from player registration and pairings to live results and final standings, all accessible from a browser without any software installation.
The platform supports a wide range of pairing systems including Swiss and Round-Robin, along with extensive tiebreak configuration options such as Buchholz and progress scores. Organizers can invite players via email, edit pairings manually when needed, and add or remove participants even after a tournament has started.
SWIPS is built to FIDE standards and is regularly updated with new features. It has processed over 20,000 tournaments and served more than 40,000 organizers and players, making it one of the more established platforms in the space.
A free basic tier covers small tournaments with no cost. Premium tiers are available for larger events and organizations needing additional capacity.
