ChessHost is a completely free, browser-based tournament manager built for local, in-person chess events. It is designed so that any organizer, whether at a pub, cafe, chess club, or school, can launch a tournament in under 30 seconds without installing software or creating accounts.

What sets ChessHost apart is its QR code registration system: players simply scan a code displayed at the venue to join the tournament from their phone. No app download, no account creation, and no manual name entry by the organizer. Once players are registered, Swiss pairings are generated automatically each round.

ChessHost includes a TV Display Mode that lets organizers cast pairings and live standings to a large screen at the venue, creating a more engaging atmosphere for spectators and players alike. Real-time results are visible to everyone through a shareable tournament link.
