Take Take Take is a chess spectator app co-founded by Magnus Carlsen and the team at Fantasychess AS. Launched in October 2024 to coincide with the Gukesh vs. Ding Liren World Championship match, the app is built around a simple idea: watching chess should feel like following a sport, not staring at a static board.

That deal put the app at the center of one of the biggest recurring events in online chess. The company has raised around $9 million from investors including Coatue, Peter Thiel, Yuri Milner, and Jim Breyer.
