ChessEver

Follow chess tournaments, live games, and grandmaster moves in real time

ChessEver is a mobile-first platform built for following professional chess tournaments in real time. Founded in 2025 by GM Vasif Durarbayli, a two-time Azerbaijani Chess Champion and world top-150 player, ChessEver was designed to fill the gap left by the discontinued FollowChess app. The core idea is simple: make it easy to track live tournament games, engine evaluations, and player performance from your phone.

The app covers tournaments at every level, not just super-GM events. ChessEver takes an inclusive, apolitical approach to broadcasting: any organizer can have their tournament shown, regardless of location or federation. That philosophy sets it apart from platforms that only feature headline events. You can swipe between games, pin the ones you care about, and search for any player or event in one place.

Each player profile includes FIDE ratings across all formats, performance history, and head-to-head records. The built-in engine evaluation runs alongside live moves, so you get real-time analysis without switching apps. ChessEver also offers a personalized feed where you can follow specific grandmasters, rising stars, or players from your country. The app automatically pins games involving your favorites.

ChessEver is available on both iOS and Android, with AI-powered features currently in development. The team is led by Durarbayli on product and chess vision, with Berkay Can as lead software engineer. The platform runs on cloud infrastructure and uses official FIDE data for ratings and player information.
