Nodirbek Abdusattorov is an Uzbek chess Grandmaster born on September 18, 2004, in Tashkent. He earned the GM title at just 13 years old, making him one of the youngest Grandmasters in chess history. His breakthrough moment came at the 2021 World Rapid Chess Championship, where the 17-year-old defeated Magnus Carlsen in the tiebreaks to claim the title.

Abdusattorov has established himself as one of the strongest players in the world, currently ranked No. 5 globally with a FIDE rating of 2771 as of early 2026. His recent results have been exceptional: he won the 2025 London Chess Classic with a round to spare, claimed first place at the 2026 Tata Steel Masters in Wijk aan Zee, and triumphed at the Prague International Chess Festival. He currently leads the FIDE Circuit 2026-2027 standings.
