KillerChessTraining is an online chess academy founded and led by GM Jacob Aagaard, a FIDE-titled grandmaster with a peak ELO of 2542 and over 32 years of coaching experience. The platform brings together nine grandmasters with a combined 200+ years of training experience to deliver structured, daily instruction across all skill levels from 1200 to 2700+ rated players.

Classes run daily via Zoom as hour-long live sessions, recorded and archived for members who miss them. Beyond live classes, the platform includes a two-tier Homework Club where members submit weekly puzzle solutions and receive personalized feedback from a trainer, structured courses covering openings, endgames, middlegames, and fundamentals, plus weekly Lichess tournaments and grandmaster simuls. The forum lets members ask questions between sessions and stay connected to the community.

Notable trainers on the roster include GM Sam Shankland (2018 US Champion, peak ELO 2731), GM Boris Gelfand (2012 World Championship candidate), and GM Vladimir Akopian (1999 World Vice-Champion). Pricing works out to roughly €1.29 to €1.50 per training hour, with monthly and annual membership options available. The academy also runs intensive in-person camps, including a 2026 camp in Spain featuring GM Alexandra Kosteniuk as special guest.
