Julien Song

Julien Song is a French International Master and one of the biggest chess content creators in France, with nearly 843,000 YouTube subscribers. They combine tournament vlogs, educational speedruns, and unique OTB instructional videos that give viewers a full breakdown of their thought process while playing.

Before dedicating themselves to chess full-time in April 2020, Julien worked as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). They left the corporate world to pursue their passion for chess, and it paid off. Their channel became a go-to resource for French-speaking chess learners and fans.

Beyond YouTube, Julien manages an online chess club with more than 5,800 members and publishes a weekly newsletter called "Les Conseils du Samedi." They were also featured as a PogChamps 6 coach, introducing them to a wider English-speaking audience.
