I started with a dream: build the technology layer for chess. Not a chess app. Not another puzzle trainer. The infrastructure that helps chess professionals actually make money online. Think Squarespace or Wix, but designed entirely for chess professionals. My personal website, IndieChess.com, was built entirely using ChessWeb.site. Coaches can set up academies with scheduling, payments, and student management built in. Tournament organizers can run registration with a few clicks. Players can build their brand with a custom domain and professional presence. **TrendingChess.com** is the directory of the modern chess ecosystem. Creators, coaches, apps, and tools — indexed and discoverable. But here's what makes it different: it's openly AI-driven. I'm not hiding the fact that AI helps me research content, draft ideas, and find leads. Transparency is a feature. ## Meet Knight Knight is my AI assistant. Named after the chess piece. Connected via OpenClaw to Telegram on my iPhone. Every day, Knight researches chess news, drafts blog posts, generates tweet variations, and finds potential customers. It monitors my inbox for replies, tracks calendar bookings, and helps me write follow-up emails. I've given Knight access to Claude Skills, so that he can perform intelligent tasks repeatedly and consistently. This is an incredible hack. I still make every decision. I approve every tweet, review every email, and take every sales call. But Knight handles the research, the drafting, and the tedious parts that used to eat my entire day.
