If IndieChess.com is the map of our indie chess universe, ChessWeb.site/me is the home base. Today I’m opening the doors to ChessWeb.site/me. A streamlined way to launch a polished personal website built specifically for chess players, creators, coaches, streamers, and the parents who manage their talented children. Everything lives under one shareable link, and you can go from idea to live site in the time it takes to brew a coffee.
What Is *ChessWeb.site/me*?
ChessWeb.site/me is the personal-site builder I wanted when I first started collecting chess creators on IndieChess. You get a fast setup that guides you through the essentials: name, URL, social links, and the chess identities you want on display. Hit publish and your profile goes live at ChessWeb.site/me/YourName. You can then continue customizing it to demonstrate your full chess brand identity.
What You’ll Find Inside:
A drag-and-drop dashboard for the good stuff: an “About Me” block, federation credentials, achievements, coaching packages, photo and YouTube galleries, goals, fun facts, and even custom sections for sponsors or shop links. Everything can be rearranged without touching code. Add as much or as little as you'd like.
Purpose-built chess integrations. Drop in Chess.com and Lichess usernames and your current ratings reveal themselves. Add a FIDE ID or national rating for official credibility.
There's even a live Play‑vs-Visitors board. Toggle on “Play Chess” and visitors can make moves against you in an evergreen game. The board updates in real time, tracks who’s turn it is, and keeps a running score of you versus the public—a surprisingly fun way to engage your community.
Media built for storytelling. Customize the photo carousel with captions and drag-to-reorder controls; the YouTube gallery renders your chosen uploads with titles and descriptions. A coaching hub ready for business. List availability, packages, rate cards, and a dedicated place to share your best contact details.
Who It’s For:
- Competitive players who want to showcase their ratings, recent results, and upcoming events in one place.
- Coaches who need a booking-ready landing page that highlights packages, testimonials, and availability.
- Content creators looking to consolidate Twitch, YouTube, and merch into a single “link in bio” but with the flair of a chess website.
- Parents and organizers who manage junior players and want a polished hub for bios, photos, schedules, and federation credentials.
How to Get Started:
Visit ChessWeb.site/me, tap “Create Your Website,” then walk through the onboarding. Publish once, and you’re live. Copy the link to view your new website.
What’s Next
I’ll keep expanding ChessWeb.site/me with new integrations, based on community. If you’d like early access to premium features (fully custom domains, themes, and more templates), reach out through the contact form.
Your chess story deserves a home that feels as alive as the game itself. Claim your space at *ChessWeb.site/me* and show the world who you are beyond the board.
